Lise’s bee’s arrived this past Friday. \u00a0We picked them up and put them in the garage for the night.<\/p>\n

Saturday was the day to add them into their new hive.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

That’s a lot of bees, 3lbs worth, or about ??? bees<\/p>\n

The yellow tab is where the queen is, sorry no pics of her. \u00a0She has a yellow marking on her for identification.<\/p>\n

We opened the shipping crate and shook the bees into their new hive. \u00a0There were still some in the crate, so we left it on the ground hoping they would vacate and enter the hive with the rest of them. \u00a0We came back a few hours later and there were three big clumps of bees, probably too cold for them with temps in the 40’s. \u00a0I had to cut the screening and push the rest of them out. \u00a0One bee got stuck on the inside of my pants leg, to get out he stung, Ouch!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
